Dynamic workflows

Turn a proposal-shaped goal into a validated draft, a live session, and an exportable starter base.

Dynamic workflows let the operator write one proposal-shaped goal, create a deterministic workflow draft, validate it, launch it as a tracked session, and export a starter story package plus flow/cassette artifacts. The demo uses an existing proposal in docs/proposals as the source example.

Question

Which product behavior does this surface prove?

Watch for

The first few beats show the capability in the real Kitsoki UI.

Why it matters

The page is generated from the same catalog and deterministic fixtures used by QA.

Key beats

  1. The dynamic-workflows launcher is global. We can open it from any story, then turn an existing proposal into a tracked workflow draft.

  2. Use the shell launcher to create, validate, launch, and export a draft.

  3. Use a real proposal path as the example goal: docs/proposals/process-design.md.

  4. The workflow service writes a draft package under .artifacts/dynamic-workflows/ and records a receipt.

  5. Validation checks the copied story package and the generated punch-list manifest before launch.

  1. Launch opens a tracked session URL for the generated workflow.

    Launch the draft — screenshot
  2. Kick off the launched punch-list run so the workflow has live session activity behind its receipt.

    Start the run — screenshot
  3. The workflow receipt keeps the launch URL and the session id, even after the modal closes.

    Reopen the receipt — screenshot
  4. Export writes a reusable story package plus starter flow and cassette artifacts mined from the trace.

Export the starter base — screenshot
  5. The receipt shows the session URL and session id, so the workflow can be followed later.

    Track the run — screenshot
  6. The proposal became a validated draft, a live session, and an exportable starter base.
